TheForkUserWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal at DeCastro Gaia. The restaurant was very kind to accommodate our request for a table adjacent to a window with a terrific view of the bridge. Both appetizers and entres were excellent, as was the selection of ports. The dining room is a great size, not too large yet intimate at the same time. We did not venture upstairs to the roof terrace, although there is a relatively steady stream of guests passing through the dining room en route to the roof. We would happily return again when next in Porto.

TheForkUserExcellent dinner, we were a party of 4. I had the vegetarian stew it was delicious my husband had the ribs they were perfectly seasoned, my friends had seafood stew and cod. The Bell wine and Chardonnay it was all delicious.

TheForkUserThe restaurant called if we wanted a window seat for €5 extra, but it came with water, sparkling wine and 2 amuses. Which was a nice surprise. The overal experience was also very good and the food is nice and fresh.

TheForkUserThe food was excellent, the service was excellent, everything arrived hot and fast, a relatively romantic restaurant. The restaurant felt a little too fancy and was a little dark, and it felt like you had to whisper to each other since the atmosphere was very quiet. But a really great experience and very tasty.
